The gas fire extinguishing agent perfluorohexanone (FK-5-1-12), with the molecular structure formula CF3CF2C(O)CF(CF3)2, is a transparent, colorless, light-odor, high-insulating, environmentally friendly liquid at room temperature. Clean fire extinguishing agent has comprehensive properties of high efficiency, environmental protection and safety. It is an ideal substitute for halon and halogenated alkane fire extinguishing agents. Its physical properties are similar to liquid water, with a freezing point of -108°C, a critical temperature of 168.7°C, a critical pressure of 18.65bar, and a vapor pressure of 0.404bar@25°C. It is currently an emerging gas fire extinguishing agent. It can be used in precision instrument rooms, computer rooms, and high-end fields such as automobiles, ships, and aviation. It is a new generation of clean, efficient and low-toxic halon alternative fire extinguishing agent.
Our company designed and developed a pump-type perfluorohexanone spray fire extinguishing device to solve the limitations of the currently used perfluorohexanone gas fire extinguishing devices with poor spray atomization and unsatisfactory fire extinguishing effects, as well as the perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing agent. Technical advantages of pump-type perfluorohexanone spray fire extinguishing device:
(1) This device uses an electric high-pressure pump unit to drive the fire extinguishing agent. The output pressure is stable, the pressure of the nozzle at the end of the pipe network is stable, the atomization effect is good, and the fire extinguishing effect is more ideal.
(2) The spray nozzle of this device adopts a special spray nozzle for perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing agent, which can atomize the fire extinguishing agent into droplets below 200 μm under low working pressure, and then quickly vaporize to fill the entire protective area, which enhances fire extinguishing. The agent has the functions of absorbing heat and cooling, suffocating oxygen, and blocking thermal radiation, thereby achieving better fire extinguishing effects. The nozzle adopts a low-noise design, no whistling when spraying, and will not affect precision equipment.
(3) This device uses a special high-pressure pump to transport the fire extinguishing agent. The pressure loss is small and the fire extinguishing agent can be transported over long distances.

(5) This device has automatic/manual stop function. If the system starts by mistake, or the fire has been extinguished and there is no need to continue spraying fire extinguishing agent, the fire extinguishing device can be shut down automatically/manually to avoid waste and loss of fire extinguishing agent. Intermittent spraying can also be done according to fire extinguishing requirements.
(6) This device can add fire extinguishing agent online. After the fire extinguishing agent is used up, if the fire is still not extinguished, you can open the filling valve and add the fire extinguishing agent to the fire extinguishing agent container in time. The fire extinguishing agent can be continuously transported to the fire protection area to extinguish the fire, making the fire extinguishing safer and more reliable.
(7) This device does not require compressed high-pressure gas and cylinders, has little impact on ambient temperature changes, and is applicable to a wider range of ambient temperatures.
