(3)Operation mode of dry powder fire extinguishing system

The driving cylinder group of this system includes three starting methods, namely automatic start, manual start, and mechanical emergency start.

      Start automatically:

When a fire occurs in the protective zone, the smoke and temperature detectors inside the protective zone detect smoke and temperature signals, transmit them to the fire alarm controller, and the controller emits an audible and visual alarm. At the same time, the controller outputs a signal to drive the solenoid valve to open the gas cylinder, activate the high-pressure gas in the gas cylinder, and activate the gas cylinder group through the gas control pipe; The power gas released by the driving cylinder group is collected by the high-pressure hose into the manifold, and the high-pressure gas entering the gas transmission pipeline is depressurized by a pressure reducer (set at 1.4~1.6 MPa before leaving the factory, and the outlet pressure of the pressure reducer is adjustable) before entering the dry powder storage tank, and the system begins to pressurize. When the pressure (displayed on the pressure gauge on the dry powder storage tank) reaches 1.3~1.4MPa, open the start valve on the dry powder storage device and open the dry powder release valve. The dry powder enters the spraying pipeline and nozzle through the release valve.

     Manual Start:

When a fire occurs in the protective zone, the external detector of the firefighter system receives a fire alarm signal or presses the controller start button according to actual needs, and the dry powder system starts working.

     Emergency Operations:

In an emergency, immediately pull out the manual safety pin of the electromagnetic drive device on the starting cylinder container valve, press the manual pressure cap, open the container valve, and start the cylinder to open the other driving cylinder groups, release valves, and selection valves in order to start the system.

Attention: Mechanical emergency startup is not a part of the normal system startup and can only be used as a final measure in emergency situations!
