Heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing equipment (UL certified)

PENBAO's PB227SP heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system has obtained UL certification.

Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) is a colorless, odorless, non-conductive, and low-pressure liquefied storage gas fire extinguishing agent at room temperature. It can be used in fully submerged automatic fire extinguishing systems to replace Halon 1301, and maintain the excellent fire extinguishing performance of Halon fire extinguishing agent without causing any environmental problems. The safety of the heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire extinguishing system in total flooding applications is safer than Halon 1301, with a safe exposure concentration of 9% accepted by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Meanwhile, the ozone depletion value (ODP) of HFC-227ea is 0, non-conductive, clean, and residue free.

When the fire extinguishing agent is sprayed into the protective zone, it decomposes into active free radicals when it comes into contact with flames or high-temperature surfaces. These free radicals seize the active substances generated in the combustion chain reaction, disrupt the chain transfer during the combustion process, and ultimately achieve the purpose of fire extinguishing. This method belongs to chemical fire extinguishing, with minimal physical effects such as cooling, diluting, or isolating air. Due to its high fire extinguishing efficiency, no pollution to equipment, and no damage to the atmospheric ozone layer, it is currently the main substitute for halogenated alkane fire extinguishing agents and has been widely used in many countries and regions around the world.
